The global pashmina industry is full of compromise — machine-woven blends sold as heritage, synthetic thread passed off as pashm, and marketing that has learned to mimic the language of craft without any of its substance. Noorè exists as a direct response to all of that.
We carry only pieces we can account for, from fibre to finish. If we cannot trace the origin of a shawl, we do not sell it.

In Arabic and Urdu, Noor means light. The è at the end is a deliberate softening — a mark of the feminine, the refined, the particular. Pashm is combed — not sheared — from Changthangi goats each spring on the Changthang Plateau of Ladakh. It travels to the Srinagar Valley, where master spinners, weavers, and embroiderers carry out the full production process using tools and methods unchanged for centuries. Finished pieces arrive at our Dubai base for final quality inspection, packaging, and worldwide dispatch.
